Right on Our Doorstep – A Bespoke Windows project on Landells Road, East Dulwich, SE22

Landells Road sits just off Lordship Lane, directly opposite our East Dulwich showroom, which makes it one of the easiest roads to see our work up close.

It's a classic late Victorian street of London stock brick terraces featuring beautiful canted bay windows, rubbed brick arches over the front doors and many retaining their original tiled paths leading to the doorsteps.

We had the pleasure of fitting our most popular Bespoke Heritage sash windows on these neighbouring homes.

The brief on Landells Road is the same brief we hear on almost every period home in London: improve the comfort and efficiency of the home without changing how it looks from the pavement.

Our Heritage range was designed for exactly this.

The frames have slim sightlines, a traditional deep bottom rail and run-through horns, so from the street the new windows read as period sashes - whilst benefiting from the low maintenance of materials suited for modern living.

Landells Road has become something of a showcase for us. Around sixty houses on this road have been fitted with Bespoke Windows sashes. And once you know what to look, for they're easy to spot against other companies' work.
